What we do

Currently, we meet monthly. Most of our meetings are in Leicester, but our members come from across the East Midlands. Our meetings alternate house Masses with social events – day trips or watching movies of interest to our members. Occasionally we organise retreats and meetings with invited speakers.

Some of us, living in Leicester, gather every Thursday for Morning prayer and breakfast.

The Dominican community at Holy Cross Priory, Leicester, supports us by providing our Chaplain.

In February 2006, we celebrated our first open Mass for LGBT Catholics, our families and friends supported by our Diocesan Bishop. Since then, we were doing it twice a year, in spring and autumn, at Holy Cross Church, Leicester. Several dozens of people joined the event. The Masses were suspended in 2010 on the Bishop’s request.
